Re: An idea to save the SEOAL
I think it would be possible for some to leave the TVC and SOC to do this. Only have eight at the most to just have one conference. Set a number to follow for the amount of students would keep it at D6&7 only. League rules would be written if a school goes beyond this amount they would have to put in for a larger league. If no offers to take them came about within 5 years they could stay. Travel time would have to be considered too. Not for cost but to get students home at a certain time.

The SEOAL is dead Jim.
Curious thought though: who owns the rights to the name?

Wellston, they started the league. So BoilerMaker and Dandy DonOmega wrote:The SEOAL is dead Jim.

The league members met and formed in Wellston but how did they come up with the name? Did Thomas come in with the name or at the meeting did they ask members to come up with a name. If they had to come up with the name what school member thought up the SEOAL?

Re: An idea to save the SEOAL
One would assume that their was a charter written for the league and once this school year ends, said charter will be desovled so no one "owns" the rights to the name.noreply66 wrote:The league members met and formed in Wellston but how did they come up with the name? The Northwest Ohio Athletic League ( NWOAL ) was in existence when the SEOAL was formed. Maybe that geographic moniker was the inspiration for naming the then new league.
