Chesapeake @ Burg

Post by Peake »

I see this one going down to the wire and the team that wants it the most will pull it out. Both teams come back from good season but both teams also have lost their best players due to graduation. Shoemaker (PEAKE), Spradlin (BURG) both of these guys lead their team in virtualy everything last year and players from both of these teams are gonna need to step up and learn their roles. I dont know much about the Burg. But good luck to both teams and GO PANTHERS!!

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS??

i agree. this game should be a very interesting game. both teams lost a ton to graduation. i only know of shoemaker from peake and that is because he is a friend of mine but the burg lost spradlin, jenkins, cook, and matt stegman just to name a few. the game will be decided by the team who makes the least mistakes. i'm takin burg by 10

I haven't been to the gym for a game but several people that have says, the seating is to low to really see the game and they won't be going to the games. Only time will tell, if the Burg has a good team most will find them selfs there, i think.

The Pirates BOLD open the season up in their new gym with a win over the Panthers.

Best wishes to my friend Joe Rase.

Gallia plays at Chesapeake Tuesday. Was the Burg-CHS game postponed tonight?

Mad dog--it does not have to be rescheduled (not a league game) but as early in the season as it is, it would be nice to see this game still played.

Got my call about 2:30 p.m. I am not sure when the game will be made up, I'd say it will be Monday before AD Porter can try to reschedule the game. I was looking forward to the game in the new gym tonight.

Game has been rescheduled for the last Saturday of January (31st) and will start with the JV game at 6 pm.

I wonder if they could make it a triple header with the freshmen? I would love to see the Gallia Academy game that way too...

Thanks. All I need now is Ashland at Ironton and Meigs at River Vallley makeups.

Gallipolis will play at Rock Hill on Dec. 23, and Trimble at Athens on Jan. 3.
