North Adams is the Division I Champs.

Manchester is the Division II Champs.

Good luck to all in the tournament.

North Adams solid at 8 win Fairfield

Lynchburg with a win over a pesky and hard to predict Fayetteville team

Whiteoak with a good win over rival Eastern Brown (been playing pretty well since the upset win over NA..and Coach Hines is now back.

Manchester with another TIGHT one at home

Peebles with a reasonable upset...but with their offensive abilities it's not too surprising.

I don't think any other SE District League is tougher to predict the winners than the SHL. The saying anyone can beat anyone on a given night is not true to me...but in the SHL it's more true than most other leagues around.

Does anyone know the records of these teams?

In the Peebles vs. Ripley game, Peebles pretty well dominated three out of the four quarters but did get outscored 22 - 4 in the 3rd quarter. Tyler Arnold for Peebles hit a three pointer at the buzzer to give the Indians the one point win. Blake Justice had 25 in the game for Peebles.

I couldn't tell you the scores of the quarters because I wasn't there. I did hear that Peebles had 10 or 12 point lead at the half. That put them down by 6 or 8 points going into the 4th quarter.

Peebles was up 14 at the half thanks to a stellar defensive effort. They did get outscored 22-4 in the 3rd quarter due to being flat and forcing some shots, which has been one of their big loss contributors in my opinion. Give them credit though, they hung in, continued to play hard nosed defense and did the things they needed to do. They deserved a buzzer beater like that, they've had their share of those this year.
