The opening Morgan drive against Fort Frye resulted in a TD taken off the board due to a penalty. The fact that Morgan did not score on Fort Frye is more to the credit of the Forts D, not a knock on the Morgan O. Just ask John Glenn about the Forts D.

Curious wrote: Sun Aug 21, 2022 7:59 pm I have watched both Warren and Morgan this year. If Warren wins it will not be because of Morgan's defensive front. I believe the game will be higher scoring than last year. Last year the difference was that Morgan was considerably more physical and it looks like the same this year.
Morgan didn’t even score an offensive Td vs Fort Frye
Morgan walked right down the field passing the ball on FF, scored a TD and it was nullified by a penalty. FF dominated them running the ball so it really didn’t matter. Warren is young and athletic. Guess we’ll see how that youth handles an experienced Morgan team.

Warren gets the win in their home opener.

Good luck and good health to both teams.

Should be a great game Friday night in Vincent, congrats on getting the new stadium by the way, look forward to seeing it next year.

Warren is on the right track and should be considered a threat on the field.

Cant wait to watch this one. Excited to see how the boys react to better competition than the buzzards. Hoping Williams has a monster night and leads the big bad blue to victory.

Whoever has the ball last will most likely win. Both teams have good offenses but their defenses are questionable. I’ll give the slight edge to Warren playing at home with a motivated Williams.

Looking forward to our O-line versus their D-line, don't think anyone knows what to expect but that could be the deciding factor.
