38-17 Bama...they took about 7 mins off the clock. Smith looks like he jammed his R. index finger earlier in the drive.

Take Smith's heroics away, and State would be in the game. I for one can appreciate a great athletic performance even though it is at Ohio States expense.

Congrats to Alabama. They were simply bigger, stronger, quicker, faster, and better coached than Ohio State.

As to the Buckeyes, a Big 10 championship, and a victory over Clemson made for a great season. A season we should be thankful that got played to begin with due to the contagion. Just hope for some normalcy come fall 2021.

The turning point was when Bama got that targeting penalty and TOSU didn't get the TD. They were never the same after that and it seemed to let the air out of the ballon. That Bama offense is a juggernaut! Reminds me of the LSU offense from last year! This offense was even better under Mac Jones than it was Tua. Jones is so deadly accurate with his throws and I knew it would be hard to stop him. That blind lob pass to Najee Harris while falling back and defenders draped all over him was a thing of beauty! Harris made a great ajustment on the ball also. Just too many weapons to deal with! Still a great year and nothing to be ashamed of. Nobody had kept the score close on them except the Gators (only because of their potent offense) so the Bucks defense wasn't the only one to look bad against them. No excuses here we just got pounded by a better team! You hear that inches?????? Lol

After the loss, proud to be a Buckeye.

Side note- that was the absolute worst defensive preparation I have ever seen. You would have thought #6 for Bama was some schmuck off the street the way they prepared to cover him.......or not cover him at all in many cases.

I'll second that. Lots of credit and congrats to Bama. One hell of an offense. Smith was lightning elusive & a QB's dream to throw to as quick as he is. Probably been more on the board if he wouldn't have went out with a hurt index finger. He's the big factor for that team. Major speed got the bucks D just plain out burnt. Ole CMK even noticed and said the bucks didn't look as fast as bama. Can you believe that, Bolt? CMK usually don't pay that much attention to football or any games. I think CMK notices more than we think and just don't say much. Just acts like quiet farm cow in a country field most of the time.

Yep lots of speed trench but when he went out they didn't miss a beat. He wasn't even their best player at the start of the year because of Waddell's injury. That shows how good Mac and them other players are. Another thing that killed the Bucks was almost no pressure Mac. The one time they got there they forced fumble. Bama is just so deep with players its not fair to the rest of the college football world. Saban can do it all with what he got. I thought when Tua got hurt last year it would knock them down a few rungs but then this guy called Mac comes in and is even better or just as good! HeII did you see the back up running back come in there and just bulldoze over them like a jv team? They are on the mountain top until somebody can knock them off. Thought I heard where they open up with JW's team next year? Miami better buckle it up tight because ol St. Nick and his NFL team is coming for them.

As a life long Bama fan, born and raised, I just wish these two programs would schedule some home and home series with each other. Great respect for me goes back to the days of Coach Bryant and Coach Hayes. Two, blue bloods of the college game.
