Adena plays D2 opponent Hillsboro at Hillsboro tonight. Could be important for seeding purposes. Play Unioto at home Friday night, too

If Western gets the #2 Seed at Waverly as they should and Fairland gets the #3 Seed at Waverly, I anticipate a Wheelersburg vs Fairland District Finals.

Re: Division 3 Tournament Info
Correct, they are in the Jackson sectional. What is your point?
Jackson #1/Waverly #4 & Waverly #2/Jackson #3 lead to the same District Finals.

Why don't they keep them together?

It's hard for me to believe North Adams is still in the discussion for the 2 seed after losing to Ripley twice as well as West Union, and Eastern brown which are both in their sectional. Western has beat Paint Valley, Portsmouth, and West Union who all will be at Waverly. That's why I see Adena with the 1 seed followed by Western, Eastern, North Adams, Piketon, West Union. I guess we'll see how it all plays out
Re: Division 3 Tournament Info
Adena should be the 1. They have 1 loss against a D3 team, with the other 3 being to good D2’s.
Piketon may be a school that teams want to avoid with their outstanding PG play.
The Jackson side is much deeper though.

I agree!!LucasDavenport wrote: ↑Tue Feb 05, 2019 8:27 am I would vote Adena 1.
Western had 1 really bad loss too.
The SHAC has not performed well in the tournament at the D3 level the last few years and it’s hard to trust them.

Eastern is playing really well right now. Beat Ripley earlier this week who could easily play with any of the top teams in this sectional. Lost last night to Georgetown by single digits, Noah Pack for G-Town is an amazing player. I’d say eastern should be the 3 easily.
Also what’s “last few years” LC did pretty well in the sectional I’d say in 2016 as they made the final 4.

All seeds are locked in. Coaches done a good job imo on voting. Good luck to all
Re: Division 3 Tournament Info
Wheelersburg’s side of the bracket will face the East winner in the Regional Semi’s
Adena’s side of the bracket will face the Columbus winner, which most likely will be Harvest Prep after looking at the bracket

I think the brackets are set for what everybody thought all along. A Wheelersburg vs Harvest Prep regional final for a trip to the Final Four. Obviously Harvest Prep will have to get thru the tough Central District but you have to believe Wheelersburg will be there waiting for the rematch.
Re: Division 3 Tournament Info
Again. Too many people selling meadowbrook short. They are defending D-2 regionals champ. Long way to go

You keep mentioning Meadowbrook. Do you know how many players they returned this season from last years D2 Regional Champ team?

They played about 7 kids. They lost 4. The big lost was the only kid that could score, Singleton. He had over 30 points to upset Fairland and averaged 25 points per game.Proud_Pirate63 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 11, 2019 8:36 pmYou keep mentioning Meadowbrook. I’m not underestimating Meadowbrook or Garaway. I’m just giving Wheelersburg credit. They are one of the more talented teams we have seen in the last 10-15 years.
