Re: State Semi Final Matchups And Locations Released
Wow, they didn't do Steubenville any favors. Basically a home game for Ursuline. Guess being a higher seed is meaningless.
Re: State Semi Final Matchups And Locations Released
Gee, regardless of seeding the MAC teams get designated Home Team. Odd how that happens.

It has NOTHING to do about seedings at the Semi Final level.

You are missing the point. So there isnt seeding... How does MAC get 3 of their teams home field advantage?Pol pot wrote:Ptguard wrote:Gee, regardless of seeding the MAC teams get designated Home Team. Odd how that happens.

Re: State Semi Final Matchups And Locations Released
Marion Local & Coldwater are closer to the sites than their respective opponents, for one. Ft Recovery is farther away from Lima than McComb is, but I would speculate that factors such as pre-sale #'s and distance play a hand in this.Neutron Man wrote:You are missing the point. Key word being speculate, because I know Pol Pot is on this thread and he still owes me a diatribe of all the fallacies I allegedly spewed a couple weeks ago (see: Watterson/Jackson thread).

Coldwater isn't that much closer. They have 1 1/2 Burg has 2 hour drive.

Haven't you noticed yet that some on here will be mad unless the game is an exact equal distance, and then they will find something else to complain about. Parking charge, which side of bleachers they got. It's kind of like a new American past time.

Well Burg and Jackson had about 3000 to 4000 people at their games. Hoban vs SVSM had 12,000 people. Ohsaa played it at Akron university. Get more fans if you want to play at a bigger stadium

Re: State Semi Final Matchups And Locations Released
I am a little stunned that the Columbus area did not get any games, with all of the fantastic stadiums available and the finals being played at the Shoe.
