I honestly thing there needs to be a topic for people to introduce themselves.

Re: Athens @ New Lexington 1/17
I've been open about who I am for years. I offer to talk to any other posters at games or wherever and whenever. We use to have JJhuddle tailgate parties back in the day. Personally, I like having my identity known and could never really understand the motive to 'hide' behind a user name with the intention of stirring the pot. Seems childish - but to each his/her own I guess.tvc_fan wrote:I honestly thing there needs to be a topic for people to introduce themselves.
Re: Athens @ New Lexington 1/17
I think most people know who I am, Even had my name as my username for the most part with my kids pic...but I NEVER talked him up, rarely ever mentioned him and he is one heck of an athlete. I changed username and everything because of 2 people ironman99 and thebarlowbandit, they were constantly talking badly of my kid, saying he wasn't good enough...etc. I like my boy fly's under the radar. You get a few people in here that ruin it for others, and the sad thing is, they can talk to you face to face, know you for years, but on hear talk nothing but bad about you.93Bulldog wrote:I've been open about who I am for years. I announced who I was the minute I signed up on here and posted, and everyone on huddle knew who I was too back in the day. Sorry to hear that Tvc_fan and totally understand where you are coming from.
To each their own is right. I tell our kids all of the time, Freedom of Speech is not limitless, and not without consequences. You are free to say what ever you want, you however are not free to pick the consequence for it.

Agreed. I've never hid from who I am and am pretty open to it. Everyone in my community that comes here knows who I am.sportsmom20 wrote:I announced who I was the minute I signed up on here and posted, and everyone on huddle knew who I was too back in the day. I just always try to remain as positive as possible (while being sarcastic at times) because the negative stuff is pretty much everywhere and easy to see. Plus, this is high school sports we are talking about here, something that I assume we all enjoy.
And just like Raider, I'm not old, but my body thinks otherwise.

Seems like some good old blood is pumping now. That's what I like to see. Keep it up Posters. Viewership just may go up and the increased Money from the Advertising can go the the Kids. Is that where the $$$ goes???-I don't know honestly-what is the money generated from the Ads used for???

Re: Athens @ New Lexington 1/17
So here is my "take" on SEOPREPS-Just from the short time I have visited and tried to offer a different or unique perspective. In this Forum certain people want you to be "cookie cutter ". Let's not say anything that may offend anyone. Some don't even want you to give Recognition to these Ball Players. That is pretty sad. This is Life people-it's pretty darn Tough out there. And admit or not the ball players are in the Limelight. Just like an actor or actress they are going to be talked about and analyzed. Why??-because there are people who live their lives through their Alma Mater and their Sports Teams. It's called Pride and it gives some people a little more reason to Tolerate this thing we call Life. You want more people to Post just not View-then they are Shutdown with Negativity-Some Want to live life through "rose colored glasses"....Well guess what Dorothy-you aren't in Kansas anymore. And as Forrest Gump would say-"that's all I got to say about that"

I feel like people are avoiding posting because of others flipping out and ripping them for everything they say that someone doesn't agree with. Being a millenial has nothing to do with it, it's just how other people act on here that are running people off.

My opinion is maybe the Bulldogs really aren't as good as some fans think they should be!

You should probably spend more time watching film and game planning.

The only Film I watch is the movie VisionQuest. Now there is a movie some of these kids should watch. Teach them a little about Heart. Just Censor out those scenes with Matthew Modine and what's her name-that probably wouldn't go over so well with some Parents....LOL
