Raiders win easy. Bet they wish they could replace this game with an opponent that will help them get some secondary points. As far as I see it, RV’s first 3 opponents will win maybe 3 games total.
Actually I think they are just happy winning some games at this point. Give them another year or 2 before they start worrying about the playoffs.
I understand your point, but I think the time is now. Challenge your program. I’m not saying to schedule Ironton or Wheelersburg, but beating Eastern does nothing in my opinion. I will agree to disagree. Good luck to your Buckeyes.
RV should look into playing Crooksville, London, Worthington Christian, and Centerburg. Those are teams I think they can beat that would be good for 4+ wins against generally larger competition (WC would be a ? since they’re still a young program, but they’ll come up soon).
I think they should build up their schedule I game at a time. Maybe Eastern or Rock Hill can drop off the schedule next season and a better opponent can be added,then the other team a year or 2 after that. Gallia Acadamy will rebuild in the next few years so that will become a very good game every year.
Crooksville would be a good add but the MVL and ECOL have a deal worked out for non league games.
I bet the Eagles would like to get RV off the schedule too! Eagles are too young! Does anybody on this team actually want to hit anybody? I haven’t heard the pads crack but a few times. Could be a long night for the people in green. Do the Eagles gain any respect this week, or do they lay down and take a butt kicking?
Heard that RV had 2 players ejected in last weeks game? Any truth to that?
Totally false. However, them and Gallia Academy are lucky nobody was ejected. Extra activity after a few plays.
Big win in a county rivalry game for RV. Would be surprised if there wasn’t a little bit of tempers flaring. Glad it didn’t escalate to the ejection level.
It was borderline, but sometimes you just have to let them play.

What are your guys’ start-up costs to getting an “on the air”? Aside from microphones, what software (if any) do you guys use? If you use software, is online (is UStream the software, or simply your medium to get your content put out for your listeners to hear you from?) or is it an-offline mixer?

formerfcfan…Our main cost was our equipment (microphones, sound board, etc). We are using Ustream, which provides us with the basic software that they have. Our main equipment is headset microphones, a sound mixer board, and a laptop. Hope that helped a little!
