Lets get this going who is favored to win the SOC 2?
7th or 8th??
There will be some pretty interesting games in the 7th grade. With everyone wanting to see where they measure up since several schools dont play Pee-Wee anymore. Should make for a fun year cant wait!!!
There is no SOC in middle school.
If there is no SOC then why do they play all conference games with a few non conference? To the kids playing they believe it’s SOC play. Might as well be they will be playing them the next few years.
The word I got was there was going to be a conference title this year. It’s suppose to be the first year.
Maybe because the teams in the SOC are the closest ones to play?
Leave it to someone from Burg to try to play Captain Obvious, but it is a moot point being that we play Waverly. I’m sure East, Notre Dame, or anyone else Round here would be closer. They play SOC schools because that’s who they will play the next six years.
You can ask anyone and they will tell you they kept track of how you did against the SOC schools when they were in Jr. High. And if they say they didn’t then they are lying! I hope they are doing it this year give the boys a little extra insentive. Either way officially or unofficially to the boys on the field they are playing for a SOC Championship!!!
Who won last year’s 7th grade game between Minford and Burg? I believe they were both pretty good.
Wheelersburg 7th grade last year beat Minfords. I would think that these 2 are the favorites in 8th grade this year. We will see they play Thursday @ Minford…
Well then. Congratulations to Minford 8th grade on beating the burg 8th grade 16-8. The 7th grade burg beat Minford 7th grade, 8 to 6. A hard fought game but Burg fumbled 4 times and Minford 6 time’s
West 7th beat Portsmouth 7th 20 - 6 had three fumbles or the score would have been worse. Didn’t get to stay for the 8th grade game I heard it was Portsmouth by alot.
