it is hard to tell anything from preseason.
But i really believe the 2 best teams in the area will square off at Memorial field on Friday night.
Yes Gallia Academy has a new Coach and yes they are young an the line is small but i do believe this team will put up a good showing Friday. Will it be good enough? i don’t know but that is why they play the game. Not to say there will be no defense in this game but got a feeling if you don’t put up 50 your going home a loser.

I don’t know much about a lot of the teams in the area yet, but if Piketon is top 15, this will be a terrible year for football around here.

goodness gracious I have no idea how do a top 15 yet … maybe after week 1 … but I do know Alexander won’t be on their - not this year anyhow.

look i don’t even agree with my own top 15. But somebody started a thread and i decided to throw out some names. I have had a great summer i have scene about 50 different teams in action or on film for at least a few plays. but only about 30 off of that list. Out of those 30 i have scene several teams that won 3 games or less last year that look a lot better. but how many wins will a lot better be.

For example i have scene Portsmouth twice. i would call them probably 50% to 75% better then 1 year ago. but when i look at their schedule i am still not sure they will actually win more then a couple of games. that is how far they were behind most of their opponents. rockhill, vinton county, jackson, logan are all improved in my thoughts.

nelsonville, alexander, piketon, wahama are not as good. but not is good means how many more loses.

so i really took a top 15 from last year nd put the teams i found to be better or same toward top and those that were dropping down. of course its not accurate but it was a place to start.
