Oof. Notre dame got their first playoff win in 22 years last night. Season over Friday. Of course I’m rooting for southern Ohio but this is a very tall task.
Notre Dame is 1-6-1 all time vs Newark Catholic. Last time Notre Dame defeated Newark Catholic was during the Eisenhower administration.

Who cares what they do this Friday. After the up and down season they have had this season. After going 2-3 on there first have, going 4-2 since, decent turn around for these boys. First playoff win in 22 years when they could have just packed it up after the East loss. Proud of this group of boys for not giving up all year. Plenty of talent still at ND for next year but ND is still playing when a lot of other teams are home. The ND team
Is a lot better than there record shows and no one gave Eastern a chance against Northwest either and look what happen. Any given day a team can be upset. Newark Catholic is a power house though and It would take a lot for that to happen but still keeping my hopes up that ND could shock the state. They first need to throw away the defensive scheme and start from scratch this week because it’s garbage. But no matter what these boys will play hard the entire game. Go luck to ND!!! Make southern Ohio proud!!

God, I love this website. 
NC. I just don’t see the Titans defense stopping NC. Green scored 30 some points on the Titans. Offensively, the titans need to keep NC offense off the field. The titans must get positive yards on 1st and 2nd down in order to make 3rd down manageable. I’d like to see them throw some short routes to the TE Campbell (maybe a hitch or out route). I don’t see them completely putting in a new defense, but I can see the Tians making some adjustments this week. Real playoffs begin this week.
My point was for them to even have a prayer of stopping NC they need to start all over… Realistically it can’t happen. Sorry if you couldn’t read into what I meant by that.
It took them 3 quarters to finally make adjustment to stop Green in the fourth… I have said all year defense is garbage. It cost them in East game as well. The offense and special teams has proven it can score points and the defense has proven all year that it struggles stopping any offense.. So hopefully they can make some adjustments to slow NC down or sustain drives to keep them off the field.. Proud of the ND boys from what they have had to overcome and battle through to even play in this game.. Good Luck Titans!

Would really like to see Notre Dame come out of this game with a win, but down deep I realize it’s just not going to happen. Glad that they were able to play a couple playoff games though.
Heard a rumor #16 Hachett (RB) for Newark did not play the first two playoff games? Can anyone verify that?

NC with a running clock in the 2nd half. Not slamming ND. NC plays a tough schedule and is always a problem come playoff time. Best wishes to ND.
