If this is true, that’s huge. Miller has been a member of the TVC for a long, long time. The trips to South Gallia and Wahama have probably taken their toll. Although Wahama will be gone soon. Hate to see Miller leave, if in fact this is true.
At one time I think this league was a solid league, but now with many of these schools having problems with numbers, who knows.
I would dare guess if the O.H.S.A.A. makes a DIV 8 (8 MAN) more than a few of these schools will be playing in it. As for now, with Harvest Prep no longer in this part of the Mid State, I think it is a good move for Miller.
Miller entered the TVC in the 1983-84 school year.
Berne Union, Millersport, Fisher Catholic, Fairfield Christian, Grove City Christian, and Rosecrans would likely be less miles and straighter roads than the TVC Hocking. I am surprised to hear about the move. And obviously some of those schools have trouble fielding football teams year after year.
I see Fort Frye as a possible replacement.
Hocking with Fort Frye, Waterford, Trimble, Federal Hocking, Belpre, Eastern, Southern, S. Valley.
