Thoughts??? Athens going into this one at 9-4 coming off a 45-44 loss at VC Friday. Marietta coming off an OT win against a good Williamstown team. This game is important for seeding purposes I would imagine.

I think the Bulldogs rebound with a win over Marietta, after a tough loss against Vinton County last game.

54-47 Final. Athens should be blowing some of these teams out!! A lot still to work on before Sectionals. Markins, Hynes and Butcher really stepped up tonight. All 3 really impressed me. Williams still out.
Any word on Williams?
Week and a 1/2 from VC game I think I heard. So maybe be back for NY game on Friday. But can’t say for sure.
Be nice to have him back before tournament time
If anything-be nice to have him back for that big showdown at the Alley on February 1st! With him being out it has really given Markins some quality time on the floor and he has responded well and been in double digits last few games. Hate to see an injury to any kid but it may help us in long run as others are getting quality time on the court and stepping up.
