They just announced on the radio that there WILL be half of the JV game prior to varsity playing.

The radio is reading a report from earlier today…I am one of the assistant coaches for the Lady Devils.

Hey, not trying to start anything. Just thought i’d let you know what they’re announcing. Being an "assistant" coach, I’d probably call the station and let them know that.

Thanks and I understand, I double checked with our other coaches, we were told this morning that we would play 2 quarters of JV, then got a call back saying that Fairfield did not have enough JV players to play any quarters tonight.

I didn’t mean anything by my post…Just trying to get the right information out.

Good luck to the Lady Devils! Shouldn’t have a problem with them. We beat them by 11 the first time we played them and then went there and acted like we’d never had a ball in our hands until that night and they handed it to us. They’re slow, so it should be a cakewalk for you guys.

The Lady Devils got the job done tonight!!! Started out rough, but pulled out a 12 point victory tonight over the Lady Lions. The 24 year drought is over! Congrats to Coach Davis and the Lady Devils!

I want to add my congratulations to the Lady Devils on the win. Great game by Karli Beasley on senior night scoring 30+ points and leading the way to an important win. Lady Devils will certainly miss her next year as will those of us who have watched her play over the past years. Hopefully the Lady Devils put together a deep tourney run to cap what has been a very good season.

I want to add my congrats to coach Davis and the Lady Devils great job last night. I agree Karli has been fun to watch and will be sorely missed.

Are North Adams and Northwest going to make up their postponed game?

Don’t know Northwest is trying to get league games in before tourny.

Northwest has all of its games in except North Adams.

Its tournament game is Wednesday

We were told that they had too many make-up games left and didn’t know if they would be able to fit us in to their schedule because of make-ups and tournament. But, I stated on another thread that playing a game before tournament, especially a game that is meaningless in terms of league standings or tournament seeding, would not be beneficial especially if an injury occurred that was crippling to either team’s chances of a deep tournament run.
