With rain and warm temps saw some mosquitoes today. Could be a fun year.
Hate mosquitoes!
So far they don’t seem to be too bad. Last year at this time we couldn’t set on the porch with out them bothering you.
Seen a few the other night, but so far they not been as bad as I have seen in previous years.
The trick is to help cut down on them dang things is to get rid of standing water. Tires, clogged gutters etc etc, anything that will hold water for a long period of time. Also if ya have bird baths, change the water frequently.
skeeters ain’t too bad here at the lake. but the ticks are terrible this year. some of em smalled than the head of a sewin needle. with a white spot on their back.
If you are setting outside try to have a fan blowing on you…this will help keep them away.
THAT’S A GREAT IDEA REPLY. I FIGURED SKEETERS WOULD BE AWFUL HERE LIVING ON A LAKE. BUT THE TICKS ARE A MUCH BIGGER PROBLEM. WE PICK TICKS OFF’N US ALL THE WAY OUT ON THE BOAT DOCK.
Had a few on the porch today but they went after the better half because she is much sweeter.
