Ben Boggs (Bowman) formerly of W'Burg on ESPN last night

How many watched the Va-Tech vs Iowa game last night on ESPN? Tech defeated the Hawkeyes 70-64 in the Big 10/ACC challenge.

Former W’Burg student and basketball player Ben Boggs (Bowman) saw significant time for the Hokies as a freshman. Nice to see him make it to a nice D1 program. I recall coaching him in grade school. Great kid and attitude. He was always a solid player and put himself in the right place at the right time. Once he grew into his body we all knew he was going to be good. If I’m not mistaken he started Varsity as an 8th grader at a school in NC. Man has he grown and looks to be right at home on the D1 stage. With Tech trailing 8-1 early, Boggs stroked 2 three pointers to pull the Hokies within 2 at 13-11. CONGRATS to Ben!
