if anyone knows the playoff formula - perhaps calculate what a Circleville loss to Canal Winchester week 10 will do to the standings … I"m thinking it could disrupt a potential Bulldog/Blue Devil first round match-up.
A rematch would be great for Athens… Would mean a great crowd and a chance for revenge. If Circleville would loose it could jump Gallia up for a home game… At least gallia controls its own destiny… Better not overlook Jackson next week and take care of business and let the chips fall where they will…
What would a GA loss against Jackson do to their playoff hopes? This game will be huge what i hear it could knock them to 7-10 in the rankings?
That appears to be a pretty weak region,McClain ranked 6th at 6-3 only beat 2 teams with winning records beat Adena in OT and we saw Adena could mean local teams could win a couple playoff games.

It could be considered ‘top-heavy’ … Thurgood and kettering Alter are as good as any DIII in the state of Ohio.
Good points Rv… Gallia has only beaten one team with a winning record and that team is ahead of us (Athens)… The rankings could be turned upside down after week 10… I would think Gallia would be out if they loose to Jackson, but I am not for sure about that…
7 WINS and Gallia still has an 88% of chance of getting in … I think the Blue Devils are good to go - just a matter of where their going week 11 is the question.
Accorrding to Joe Eitel, Athens Controls their destiny. If they lose, there is no guarantee they get in. Lets let this week play out before saying they are for sure. They are in good position, but still work to do.
Even with only 8 wins … Athens has a 99% chance of making the playoffs …
I saw that, but I look at it this way, crazy things happen. Think and play like win you are in, and then there is nothing to worry about. That 1% may bite you if you think otherwise.
