Honestly, who the heck knows.. maybe they should of stayed with Hutch? Pretty crazy they can’t keep a coach. If Administration is trying to kill a program they are doing a good job of it. Since 2006 Wellston has had 2 .500 seasons.

With these sissyfied administrations and parents real coaches don’t want to coach anymore.

I really thought someone would come out of retirement for Logan but with the way society is coaches from 20 years ago would be like throwing them to the lions.

I’d take Yates or Downs before anyone already in the district. It’s always a shot in the dark at a small school but this is getting crazy. If Graham applies and gets it I hope for the best but I’d like to see someone with a little bit of varsity experience and a track record of trying to stick around for more than a few years.

Top 10 in descending order with reasons to hire in parenthesis:
- “Old Dutch” (Deserves another shot).
- “Brick Walls” (His name, but you’ll have to fight Logan for him now).
- “Jesty” (Hey, don’t laugh, there are some at VC who think he did a good job).
- Jack (Experience, yea, not the one who was at VC in the 90’s).
- Phillips (anyone heard anything from him lately? Give him a ring, surely he’s looking for a job).
- Paul Blankenship (Hey, at least Coal Grove won’t steal him away).
- Downs (He’s available).
- Davey (He’s available).
- Blackstone (Proven winner).
- O’Rourke (VC won’t hire him, so he’ll be sure to kick the dog shi# out of them year in and year out. Pay the man).
Well if I was gonna go get a coach that would make the Rockets better and who could put some heat back in the wellston rivalry I would hire Jeff Downs and Matt Queen as co head coaches. Week 10 just got better. The only question is can they win enough to keep the rocket moms happy?
Go after Heath Hinton. Bring him back and let him build the program again.
