I agree you are a dangerous 7 and it’s on the TVC and SOC I, but Valley is the one that got done like that. They were the better team with the better resume that took on the tougher draw. Webster is a legitimate team that will push Valley for 4 quarters. Either way, this is a matchup that shouldn’t be happening right now. I think Valley wins but all fans will get their money’s worth.
SW beat everyone in the SOC2 at least once except Waverly. The second time with minford our big dog was out with an ankle injury. Lost a tight one 5 vs 8 at Chesapeake. Case closed. Who has Western played? And at the time of seeding FH never played Trimble yet. People act like valley beat the brakes off us in their win… it was a tied game with around 90 seconds left.
And mathematically for us to get the 7 seed, that means someone voted us lower than that
Hate on it all you want but if we played Westerns soft schedule we’d have 22 wins
Not saying you guys deserve to be 7 because you guys have a nice squad. BUT when your own league votes you the 7 chances and that’s what you’re gonna get.
Enough about the seedings… everybody knew all year that Webster and Valley were going to be paired together and here we are. I agree though that it effects Valley just as much as Webster.
As for the game itself, if Webster handles Valley’s pressure, they can win this one. Both teams have limited depth, so foul trouble could swing this game as well. It’s a shame that this game isn’t for a District Championship, but gotta think the winner will be favored in the next round.*
Does it matter that much when this game is played??
Here on out all games are “big games” for every team.
Yes, Valley & Webster are two great teams with talent, but every other team left on the division 4 bracket is too.
Good luck to both teams. I take Valley in a close one.
