Re: Chip Kelly Fired
TBH... Im not surprised by the firing. I do agree he will pop back up in the College Football realm.

Re: Chip Kelly Fired
Not real surprises, he made a lot of terrible moves as the GM. He did say he wants to stay in the NFL though.

Re: Chip Kelly Fired
Stubborn, self-appointed expert. He might get another NFL job but will end up the same way. Dumb shitt!

Re: Chip Kelly Fired
I bet the Browns would take him even though he kicked sand in their face last time around,he actually recruited Johnny in college, but since Johnny is packing his bags looking to get out of there Kelly would probably snub them again.
Re: Chip Kelly Fired
Yeah why not. Might as well give him a run with that dumb*** offense he runscbolt wrote:I bet the Browns would take him even though he kicked sand in their face last time around,he actually recruited Johnny in college, but since Johnny is packing his bags looking to get out of there Kelly would probably snub them again.
Re: Chip Kelly Fired
He actually had pretty good records with the Eagles his first two years until it went south this year. His offense would have to be better than what these clowns are running up there now, but you don't have to worry he won't set foot in that place.Rumor is Saban is looking at him now

He is a very good coach when he doesn't have to much control. Know his role and limit him to that. He wanted to control NFL players off the field to much. To curfews and how much sleep the player should have every night. The players eating habits. He didn't treat the players as employees more as pawns to serve him.

Re: Chip Kelly Fired
Well now, guess he was serious when he said he wanted to stay in the pros. Going to 49ers

Re: Chip Kelly Fired
Funny thing is he got rehired before the Eagles could even find a replacement for him .Will this come back to bite the Eagles like Reid did ? Kaepernick seems like the perfect fit for ole Chip's offense. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.
Re: Chip Kelly Fired
49ers owner and hardbaugh couldn't get along so I look for this to be a head butting 1st season.

Re: Chip Kelly Fired
I agree with Farmer if he doesn't have too much power I think he will be alright.Holmgren was the same way he stunk as a GM,but could flat out coach if it was his only responsibility.
Re: Chip Kelly Fired
Didn't think he would stay in NFL but like bolt said Kaepernick may work real well with that offense. Might be the best fit possible for him
