D4 Boys Outlook
Who is looking solid early and what schools look to be favorites to advance to regional?
Re: D4 Boys Outlook
Seems to be a whole bunch of really good teams in D4 this year.. Just pulled up seodab.org to check out the sectional breakdowns, geesh the Northwest sectional is loaded!
Meigs sectional top teams will be: Trimble, Waterford, South Gallia.
Northwest Sectional top teams: Clay, East, Notre Dame, South Webster, Fairfield, Manchester, Eastern Pike, Peebles (all in no particular order)
Wow! Crazy to think only 4 teams will come out of Northwest. That's going to be some intense sectional finals!

Northwest seems loaded. Meigs, not so much.
Thank Belpre & Fed Hock for that - they dropped to DIV this year.

Re: D4 Boys Outlook
Northwest sectional is definitely loaded! I like Eastern Pike, Peebles, Clay/Sciotoville, and South Webster coming out of there. SW playing in a conference with predominantly football schools helps prepare them for tourney. Their record may not be as great but they'll be ready to compete. The SOC is as deep as it's been in a long while. You can't sleep on the SHAC either; Fairfield gained back to back wins recently and Manchester/Whiteoak will compete with most. Every game in this sectional should be interesting!
Re: D4 Boys Outlook
That Northwest sectional, sheesh. I could see the 7/10 winner and 8/9 winner both playing competitive games with the 1 and 2 seed in the sectional finals.

The seeding in the Northwest sectional 1-5 is going to be one of the most interesting draws of the area, also I think every sectional final could be competitive too.
