I dont know alot about Adena or what they return. I know they like to run the ball. Going off of last year, the game was put away pretty early. First game back at The Rock in 2 years and coming off a big rivalry win. I think the stadium will have some electricity and the boys excited again. I think this one will be over pretty quickly. Work on the special teams and get the starters out quick is what I'm hoping for. Going 48-12 West

P. West really got right in week 2 showing exactly what most ppl were thinking this team would be, look for West to put up the running clock in this one.

The West team we all expected to see showed up against Portsmouth. I think they will get better each week and be a real tough out in D5 playoffs.*

I like the sound of that! I do think Waverly and Minford will be competitive games, but I do expect the Siders to win.

Hard not to look ahead to week 10 if you're a pirate or senator fan

Shouldn’t compare scores but it’s hard to see Adena competing with West. I hope they at least push the starters into the 4th quarter.

Wellston the week after will be really bad. Then KIPP who will bring in a bunch of athletes then Waverly.

This team IMO is still feeling things out and hasn’t reached it’s potential yet. Two new coordinators are still getting guys and systems where they want them. Special teams still have to improve. If they continue to improve this team is a tough out for anyone

I think the biggest question is how many yards will sisell get. He’s probably ready to explode for a big game. I’ve been anticipating a 2k season for him and he’s off to a slow start.

West by as many as they want but I hope it stays close to see more of the stud rb.

West will be very dangerous in the postseason if they get a few things worked out.

Really hope the young man gets some good yards. I'll never complain about sharing the love but I know he has next level aspirations, so those chances open up with good stats. I think his best chances are at LB but none the less.

After 2 games and an impressive performance last week, I dont think the offense is near its potential. Still figuring things out and I do think they will. When that happens they could be very scary by the end. Defense looks great. Special teams is the biggest worry right now. Not having that consistent point after is a big deal. Note the Fairland score. Kickoffs are just as bad. Guaranteeing the other teams drives from around the 40 yard line is not ideal at all.

Good programs make sure they have kickers coming up through the program, because of their importance at the varsity level. If I had a kid playing football he would be kicking. One thing that Sissel can improve on is his vision running and looking to cut back.
