Do y'all have your week 1 game set, next year? I keep hoping the Blue will dump Meigs and schedule a bigger traditional rival like Jackson or Logan
Logan
Athens
Ironton
Western Brown
Wheelersburg
Is that the next 5 years?
I know Ironton is signed

I think for the school size no one travels as good as valley it’s not uncommon for them to have bigger crowds at away games than some home teams

Definitely based on success of program a good bit
Fort Frye travels well. Waterford travels well. Heck their girls basketball team probably has more fans than most SEO football teams
For as small school we pack the house. I hate being away team for playoff games.

Athens traveled well when Burrow was there. Since it’s nothing to get excited about.
Athens Definitely does not travel well. Heck they can't fill there own place up.

They’re over twice the size of NY. They should have a bigger fan base.

And we are the #1 fan base in the MAC every year. When 95% of your fans are Athens people, stop playing on the same nights as Athens. darn ESPN

At Meigs, for instance, GA brought more fans, even in an hour and a half rain delay than Meigs did.
Penrod needs to teach Gallia County Sheriff’s office how to tackle inmates

The last time we played at Athens (2017), we brought more fans than you guys....
I know you guys are pretty proud of beating up on small schools but you should at least expect to have more fans because of how much bigger you are.

Bigger yes, more knowledgeable not so much. Most NY fans know if they have band seating in their end zone or not.

River Valley fans travel, even though we've not had a good season in a while.

Saw a picture from the Burg-Jackson game and Jackson's side looked about half full. This might have been at halftime but the person said the pic was from the first half.

Burg has always traveled well. Half of the visiting sections around here will even come close to holding the Burg crowd. Minford will be packed come Friday night and there visiting section will barely hold half of the Burg crowd.

You guys brought a decent sized crowd to NY this year. I figured it would be smaller because of your record but you have some die hard fans.

Their stands are huge on the home side
