Lost 5 seniors, but return their leading scorer and got another stud guard as a transfer. They'll be really tough once again, good first challenge for the Falcons.

Thanks daniC ... I just found the score myself ... Wow ... my Elite 8 took a beating in the 1st weekend of the hoops season ! BUT as you posted - the top 8 opened vs some quality teams ! Columbus South, Bloom Carroll, Watterson, Unioto vs Logan, Fairland vs Centerville for the W - good stuff !!! ... hey !!! this is the way it is supposed to be - if you're good play good opponents, you learn as much about your team in losing as you do in winning ... a few shuffles in positions but nothing major will happen this first weekend ...

columbus south really gets up in you!! pressure all the time, they created 18 turnovers in the first half, FU will have to learn to handle pressure better for sure. I think they ended up with 24 turnovers or so, number 10 is very athletic gets to the rim for south, we didnt check him out very well and he hovered around the basket all day. They have an athletic team. One of their tall kids hit a couple threes along with their other guard. FU will be ok though Thompson with 24pts and woodside should dominate the MSL, just have to take care of the ball, we had alot of trouble getting good looks.
