Out of 10 wins for Unioto they only have beat 2 decent teams. Logan and Fairfield Union

Should be a good game. Lots of athleticism and talent on the field. Unioto is unbeaten and Westfall hasn't lost since Opening Day. Hope it gets played on Friday.

Westfall comes in riding a 33 game winning streak in the SVC.
Of those 33 only a handful have been relatively close games. In fact WF mercy ruled 9 of 14 SVC contest last season and I think they have ended 4 of their 5 SVC games early this year as well.
Westfall was the youngest team in the SVC last year, much of that powerful lineup is back to continue the streak.
Let’s not forget the guy in the Red Skippers cap has a State Title on his shelf.
The Sherman’s 10-0 start is a surprise after last years season. “Only 11 checks in the win column all of last season.”
Coach Hull has found a way to get talent from all four grade levels to gel together and win games. The Sherman’s have a strong line up as well with 8 of the 9 having hit Dingers in their varsity careers.
On paper this is looks to be the closest any SVC foe has had at breaking the Mustangs streak.
The game is being played on the dandelions
of Williamsport which gives the Mustangs an advantage.
Lets hope it’s a good one

What kind of turf is that in Williamsport?
Is it a swamp grass/dandelion hybrid?
On to the game.......
The bats came alive for the Westfall Bulldogs in the second, 3 dingers and 5 runs scored.
WF was on point tonight, no doubt.
Unioto had runners on base in every inning except for the 2nd. Leaving 10 on base for the night. WF Left only 1 stranded.
Defensively both teams played to near perfection, Unioto’s outfield played outstanding. You must alway take into consideration how tricky the Westfall Wind can blow a softball, which makes this performance even more impressive.
Good luck to both squads today in Circleville.
