I heard 2 reports at church this am . Portsmouth Over Notre Dame , and Clay over Portsmouth . Didnt get scores .

Portsmouth beat ND 8 to 2...Portsmouth's Pitcher has a VERY GOOD change-up!! Don't know the score of the Clay game that game was played on the other field...

West over South point 11-3. West and Chesapeake battled it out under the lights . West lost 8-7 .

Fairfield Union lost 2-1 to defending D2 State champ and preseason favorite Lakewood. The winning run being scored in bottom of the 7th
FU then beat Philo to go 1-1 on the weekend.

FU starter is the Eaton girl who has been the starter the last couple years. I think she might have been the pitcher 2 yrs ago when FU and Lakewood met in the Regional final.
