Clay 6-2 overall and 4-0 in SOC play.

The Mader girl pitched an awesome game for Clay but all 4 runs were unearned due to defensive errors. I've never seen a change up that wicked and effective, for such a young pitcher. She pitched a very good game. ND capitalized on the errors and won the game.

You have to practice defense to decrease errors. And yes Lyndsay pitched a good game but was she the right pitcher to throw this game? Alot of ND players are very familiar with her. In my opinion it all comes down to coaching.

Headhunter-How many of Clays games have you been to this year? The girls cannot field the ball and they do not practice defense.
And as far as Dick being as good of a coach as Teresa Ruby all I can say to that is HAHA

3. But facts are facts. Your situation is what it is. Dick took the team and will be the coach as long as he wants.

neither--Clay is just not that much better than ND and ND is not that much better than Clay. But ND has a huge upside with all the talented freshman. They will get much better and fast. I do think some folks underestimated how good Pauley would be in the circle. MD

Right now the Vikings are the only undefeated team in the SOC1. They play Clay tonight at Clay. Should be a really good game. It should show just how tight the SOC1 is this year. Last year the Viking won two out of three games against Clay and both teams have lost some key players. This should be the game to watch tonight.

If E.C. (Erica Corn) is on then I think the Vikings will have the win. Rumor is though that her back has been giving her some problems. I seen her curve ball and if it is working she can drive you crazy with it.

Now will the Vikings be able to handle that change up from the Clay pitcher. They can hit for sure, but will they wait on that change up is another story. A good change up is sometimes as good as a 62mph fastball on the knees.

Could be a low scoring game. Wish I could be there.
