From what ive been told they are greatly struggling. Lots of turmoil, lots of injuries, lots of issues with management.

That my friend, is a huge understatement. It seems a stellar JV record does not translate into success at the varsity level. I bet the so called "hiring committee" is questioning their decision?

I heard that the broker is holding out on winning anymore games until they erect that scoreboard with his name on it.

Could someone please let me know if Trimble played Saturday Vs Maysville and if they won or lost .. thx

They dropped two at Maysville, but somehow one was counted as a JV game???? Don't ask me how.

If varsity played, how can it be called a jv game?

A LOT OF TEAMS HAVE BEEN DOING THE VARSITY/JUNIOR VARSITY DOUBLE HEADER THING THIS YEAR ... I KNOW VINTON COUNTY HAS DONE IT A FEW TIMES AS HAS A FEW OTHER TEAMS ... I'M GUESSING THAT'S WHAT TOOK PLACE WITH TRIMBLE VS MAYSVILLE.

I can only tell you that it was scheduled as a varsity double header. The JV games were cancelled. Then after the games it was said to me the varsity lost one and the JV lost one. No explanation was given. I know the varsity players for Trimble played both games.

HOW ABOUT TRIMBLE SOFTBALL FROM WEDNESDAY APRIL 14TH? DID THEY PLAY BISHOP ROSECRANS LIKE THE BASEBALL TEAM DID?

I haven't made a visit to Trimble for almost 20 years. I know of 1 former teacher, and a lady who succeeded as coaches-Who is the coach now?
Also, do they play travel Softball in the summer there these days? My Daughter has been to 2 softball World Series, and I've watched a lot. One common variable for most excellent players: they played Summer ball somewhere-good or not.
Most important question to me though, "Who is the coach now?"

Does Trimble even play softball anymore? Didn't they play Federal Hocking last night? I don't have scores from Trimble for the past 5 days.

Well they have been losing a lot, so it is easy for me to believe the coach would not want to talk about or give results from those games. They lost to Southern on Monday. But they beat FH last night, so I figured he would want to talk about that one and how great he coached in it?

The Saturday double header with NY ended up being two wins for the Cats. First game was 10 run rule, second one was closer but still a win by Trimble. I can't remember the exact scores though.

Yes, you are back. Trimble beat Wellston friday night 7-3. Trimble also shut out Miller 11-0 on Thursday. All the injured kids are back. If they stay injury free, they will get better the rest of the way.
