Just curious, not that it matters but how do you determine the rank if its not by batting average, OBP, Runs or RBIs.. ?

Thx for the extra work you're putting in, it's nice being able to check out the other players from the area. Longball-- it could be the number of ab compared to the other stats, but just a guess??

Sort order is total hits. Keeps 1-1 players from being at the top... Hey if you have pics of players send to me seopstaff@yahoo.com

looking at the stats pitcher of the year may be robinson (waverly) or claxton (burg) is leading. looks like offensive leaders are brisker (oakhill) and hughes (burg). cant find any defensive stats.

Looking at stats and watching Robinson twins play definitely could be co pitchers of year and co poy

I wouldn’t take a whole lot of stock in those stats. If they’re not all coming from the coaches & some are coming from a dad doing GameChanger or keeping a book on there own those stats might be way off. It’s nice to be able to see & Matt is putting a lot of work in! I just wish the coaches would get on board & send the stats to him. I don’t know what would be the secret?

Maybe they ought to just an all star list with no 1st and 2nd team .. or ditch the whole thing ? Only way I know to fix the dumbassery that goes on is shed light on the issue . Last year was a joke.

kids are taught "teamwork" all season but at the end of the season, a couple players on that team get special recognition or awards... but on what basis?

I’ve seen some end of year awards that I didn’t agree with but I could see how others could make the argument but last years was an absolute joke. Everyone involved in that should have been embarrassed.

They’re are At least 1or 2 players on each SOC 2 team that is qualified to receive these awards as far as I read here.To say one team and it’s players are better than these other teams best players is ludrious . If these players were playing for this superior team they also would have blown up stats and so there should be at least 1-2 players in the runnng for POY awards from entire leagues teams, not one team. As I read. Minford is loaded with talent, Waverly is loaded with talent, Northwest has some really good players. Valley, West. Is there one, or two players from last year to this year, are they’re stats really far better this year than last. I’m sure every team has one or two players that has made great strides since last year.

does the Coaches vote here or the posters vote ! If us posters vote , let me know when we can vote. If everyone wants to vote Coach then , these Coach’s see these players all year and really know them.
