Just how good is the SVC in softball? 2 teams going to Akron from our conference is a VERY STRONG statement... especially since both wins came against SOC opponents, who some will argue is the better conference! Not that I agree with that, as I believe the best conference around, top to bottom, is the SVC. Enough of my rant on that... sincere Congrats to the Lady Mustangs and coach Redman and the Lady Bearcats and Coach Medved... to great teams with great coaches... Go bring home 2 state Championships!!!

Let me be the first to point out the mighty Sherman's of Unioto
Was 3-1 vs State Final four opponents this season........

But like wise the Great one needs to acknowledge I selected
the Mustangs to finish 4th in the SVC
and Paint Valley 6th.
Can I have some salt with a plate full of crow?
So much for that all knowing self proclaimed greatness....


MEGA props to both Westfall and Paint Valley!

With my great misses of this season I also proclaim
That this would be an SVC season you would tell your grandchildren
about, and with two teams in the finals at least I got that correct!

Best of luck to both Paint Valley and Westfall this weekend at the State.
WKKJ will be broadcasting both games, if you don't have it now would be a good time to down load ihart radio on your smart phone.

Got to hear interview blurbs from both coaches today and both praised the SVC league and the players they faced to help get them ready for their squads respective Sate Tourney run.
