I'm not sure who St. Joe lost from last year but my guess is Notre Dame will be at or near the top. Clay lost a ton, so I'd say they'll be rebuilding for a year or two.

I think St. Joe returning 6 starters and had a decent season last year.
I totally forgot about SV in this conference. Aren't they usually near the top in baseball in this conference? Do they have anything back?

Symmes Valley returns about everyone, they will win the conference easily.

Having Clay below East and Western is probably a stretch. I'm guessing Clay comes in around that 4 or 5 spot. Crabtree and Cottle will have them ready to go.

St. Joe lost 5 starters including 1 who transferred to Ironton. They’ll probably have 4 freshmen and sophomores starting. Not sure if they’ll be competing for anything.

After watching some scrimmages, I agree that Clay will probably finish in the middle of the league this year. They lost scrimmages big to South Point and Portsmouth while they had a few starters out, then won scrimmages against Northwest and West Union. Pitching has been inconsistent for the Panthers so far. Look for Clay to throw everybody this year. They have good talented young kids but other than their #1 pitcher they lack experience. Coaches Crabtree and Coach Cottle are as good as anybody and will get the most out of this young team. They will field and hit well. If one or two of the young pitchers can be consistent and surprise us, they can finish as high as 2-3, but I look for them to finish 4-5 in the league most likely.

St Joe is currently sitting at 2-0, 17-0 over Tolsia, WV and 7-4 over River Valley. very young only 3 seniors and 3 juniors, starting 3 freshman and a sophomore, they are a talented scrappy team. Prior to the season opener scrimmage games against NB was 28-1 and 9-1 over Chesapeake. I don’t think you are giving them a fair shot, we’ll see how plays out but I’d suspect that they’ll be competitive and near the top with SV and ND.
