I think they got 3 pitches in to the first hitter and that was it, and he has yet to complete the plate appearance. At least I got my money back, but spent much more than that on transportation. I wouldn't have went had I remembered the mandated 30 min rule that stops play with blue skies.

Nelsonville-York was up 5-1 on Belpre before Mother Nature took over in the bottom of the 2nd. No official game recorded..

Was Nelsonville and Belpre a tournament game? If so it will be picked up right where it left off. Yes Ohio High School has expanded it's storm rules. use to be just lightening delay but now if there is thunder it's delay 30 and can not continue until 30 minutes after the last thunder. Umpires have been warned by the State it is a two year banned on all officiating permits if violated for all sports. Umps have no choice.

No..The N-Y/Belpre game was just a makeup game from earlier this season. Apparently Mother Nature didn't want these two teams to play this year.
