Been looking forward to the start of the regular season for awhile. Minford still has some fine tuning to do before they start regular season play. Going up to Gallia Academy tonight should offer the Mighty Minford Falcons a great chance to improve a little before the opener. I look for Minford to be ready for what is promised to be an exciting opening game. GO FALCONS !!

They are saying scattered T-storms, but warmer. Zane Trace is getting their fourth scrimmage on Saturday.

I drove out to the field and the players were out working on the field. Its a sunday and they are working on the field. What dedication. Hopefully the weather stays dry, Cant wait for this game.

I know that Farmer from Minford has signed with Mt. Vernon, but ZT's first baseman has signed there also. His name is Josh Roberts. These two programs have opened the season for about 4 or 5 years now and before that they would scrimmage every year.

I am leaning more towards Minford in this matchup, but really havent heard much about Zane Trace, and how good they will be this year!!! If they are like the usual Zane Trace teams, this game will be played down to the wire!!

Minford has a very solid team this year, and I am sure that ZT will be loaded again this year after making a strong run in the tourney last year.

Should be a great game. I am praying that the rains hold off at least until 9pm!

It's not looking good. The Reds game is already under a delay and whatever rain Cincy gets we usually get here in Scioto County. But, regardless....Go Falcons!!!!!!
