Zane Trace has Jackson Wednesday and Miami Trace Thursday. The opener is on Saturday against Cedarville.
Hmm. Whiteoak hasn’t impressed me much.

I would say they are in the median 50% of the teams I’ve seen for D4. Not knocking them at all, they’re ok, but could use a lot of work to be top level to compete in this division. If they can come together as a team they may have a shot at getting past districts. It’s a long season, hope for good weather and good luck to all!

I think it ended 4-4. It was 4-2 U after 7 and then a lot of JVs went in. Both teams looked a little rusty but the pitching was good

Valley scored 1 in top of 1st, while Unioto answered with 2 in 2nd and 2 in 3rd. Valley managed to add runs in the 4th, 6th and 8th (I think - was in the truck trying to unthaw)

It was windy and cold but it was good to take in some baseball.

I was impressed with Powell on the mound from Valley. Unioto hit Arnett pretty well, plus some errors, and Powell came in and really shut it down

Powell is legit...was touching mid-80s in junior high with solid command of off-speed stuff. Valley’s pitching staff is absolutely loaded for a D3 school.*

He looked really good. And Unioto should have a solid lineup

Zane Trace 10 Miami Trace 6.

ZT seems to be starting on the right foot this season.

Scrimmage scores can be misleading-Miami trace was throwing their bottom pitchers. With that being said ZT has a good squad.
