Re: SEOAL Scores and Standings
In a great HS baseball game tonight at Gant Municipal Stadium the Blue Devils of Zanesville topped Div 4 #1 Newark Catholic 4-2 pushing their record to 18-1. Brandon Smith pitched a complete game of 5 hit baseball and the blue devils looked solid in the field with only one error. Warren comes calling tomorrow looking for redemption from 2 earlier losses at the hands of the Blue Devils with Athens(makeup from the 28th) away Thursday and Logan at home Friday. Should be a couple of good days for HS baseball. Good Luck to all and Go Blue Devils.

that makes the JV Tigers 8-2, 7-2 in the SEOAL. Good job Tigers. Didn't get to see this one. had to go to the races at Keenland.
looks like a down year for the varsity team, But looks as if our up and coming jv will bring alot of great potential

Great win for Athens tonight. I've seen them play alot this year and they are so much improved from the last couple years. 4-4 in the league and i think right around .500 overall. Coach Gibson is doing a good job with this group

Zanes-Vegas;
Why is Zanesville not ranked in the coaches poll? and are you guys in Div. 1 or Div. 2 this spring? Great record so far (19-1), too bad my Warren local boys couldn't at least get you guys once this spring. It has always been a pleasure to play and watch you guys over the last few years. Good luck in the tournament.

Alas, Division I, by like two boys (and if you counted now, it wouldn't even be close to D1). We got shipped to Central, and I'm sure we'll get little respect -- they'll hold the SEOAL, etc., against us, like they do everyone else from this league.
