I was up by the Greenup field yesterday and I was suprised to see the new scoreboard. Nice..............first class!

Burg Played at Washington Court house yesterday- won against Zane Trace 10-5 and the won against Washington Court House 11-1 in five

Play West at home 5pm 4-4-11- Go Burg

Wheelersburg and West cancelled tonight- talk of maybe playing tomorrow. We also have to make up South Webster and the suspended game with Waverly at home- Go Burg

Burg Over West tonight 7-5. Drew Parsley for Burg and Anthony Knittel for West hitting the long ball tonight. Austin Boyer and Brett Hood pitched for the Burg. Knittel thru bottom of six pitched a very good game. Go Burg- Next game is tomorrow night home against valley

Nice team work tonight by the Burg- very nice pitching by sophomore Derrick Moore. Bats were alive made some nice plays and had a good game plan by the coaching staff. Ryan Wamsley for valley had a nice shot over the fence as well Jared Timberlake for the Burg. Nice game to watch by two very good ball teams.

Burg plays at Ironton tomorrow- Go Burg

Looks like Derek Moore is going to be the ace of the staff. He's got great pitching bloodlines in him as his dad was an exceptional pitcher for the Burg back in the early 80's.
Forgot to add that Derek pitched a perfect game last year as a Freshman pitching for the JV team. I believe it was the first one ever pitched for the Pirates at the JV or varsity level.

With him, Luster and Parsley, looks like the Burg staff should be okay. Won't be as strong as last years staff, but they will still be pretty darn good.

Looks like the Burg has started out fast out of the gate again with big wins over Greenup Co, West and Valley. Looks to be another banner year for the Burg baseball team.

always said it hard to beat the pirates. bats were alive for burg and pitching kept the indians perplexed. they kept their starter in too long. should make the game at their place a good one.

Another really nice squad out of the Burg. They have an outstanding program, very fun to watch.

Should be a nice doubleheader with Adena tomorrow, as Adena is also a very good program, should be a fun couple of games.
