That's great to hear. The local paper has had very little info. Who has been playing well? I'm sure Brockmeier is a stud as usual.

I really miss Legion ball.

I just read Saturday's paper, first article I have seen. Sounds like the team is really hitting. Keep us posted if you can.

Defense on this team is very good top to bottom.
everyone on the team is getting lots of playing time ( except Levi, out with a knee injury, but He's showing up and learning from the bench).
Pitching is somewhat of a supprise, with seven guys doing the throwing.
Hitting has picked up too, lots of hits with runners in scoring position.

There certainly was some talent in this game with Ian Drapcho, a first team All-Ohio player and former all-stater and now Marietta College player Evan Brockmeier. Beverly Lowell is playing very well-keep up the good work. Proctor is another outstanding player for B/L Post 389/750. Watch out for this team come State Legion Tournament time.

Logan supposed to play Beverly-Lowell at Beverly tonight-Logan canceled.

Logan has always canceled their trip to Beverly, Yet we always go to their hole to play.

Anyone else have this problem?

Why can't they play their home games at the new Logan H. S. ?

Enough ranting, I guess they have their problems, but it's just as far to travel to Logan as it is for them to come to Beverly...

Belpre-Marietta Legion to play at Beverly tomorrow evening, bet they show up.

Logan is a sorry excuse for a baseball town...sorry but that is the truth. My son played against Logan 14 times in 4 years and never lost to them. It's no wonder the kids don't want to play baseball there though, they have the worst field imaginable. I wouldn't schedule them ever again. The weak competition is not worth it.

BTW: Great weekend B/L!
