Seaman was at the District 14 All-Star game. So don't say he was a no show when you have no idea his reasons for not being there!

If he wasn't at the game wouldn't that be the same as being a no show?

No shoudlnt be sore. Unfortunately but true, Peebles will struggle all year. Lack of experience, lack of pitching, lack of hitting doesn't equal much success. A person can still hope for the best. Hopefully they can turn it around a little

If they dont bring it together the Minford game could be ugly as well.

It's always interesting looking at some of these predictions as the season winds down.

Someone had Lynchburg as the 6th best team in the league?

What about West Union 7-10 overall and finished 6-7 in league. What a year for those boys and coaches so far. They have had some big wins this season beating North Adams 3 times, beating Peebles, Eastern, and Manchester. Good luck in tournament Dragons..I BELIEVE!!!

TAR HEEL FAN44,

West Union is having a solid year. Is this group mainly the same group from last year (just a year older and better), or did they get some other guys out. I have not seen them this year, but I thought they had a player named Grooms that was a nice player. Who are some of their other key pitchers/players?

Not to make excuses but when WU beat Peebles, Peebles was playing without half their team. Justice, Countryman, Fisher and Bengsten out and a couple others playing injured.

Pitchers are Brad Grooms and Ryan Beasley...And we have 4 to 5 good hitters, Brett Grooms is leading the team in Avg., Slg., and OBP. Good luck today Dragons in your tournament vs Paint Valley

Honestly I think everyone on this site has hopped on the peebles bandwagon.I will give it to the basketball program and everything, they have a bunch of great athletes but there baseball team is not that great and ppl blow them way out of porportion. I am not trying to down the kids in any way but this all just a bandwagon thing.
