Post by 86cavs »

The season starts monday for the Cavs away at Logan Elm.The up coming season for the Cavs should be interesting. The team is led by Dawes,Grow,Webb,Glendening,Scott,VanVoorhis,Corzine,Ragland,Carey,Russell all seniors. The juniors are Dunn,Netter,Boullion,Dennis,Winston,Holz,Sulzer,Davis. This team should do pretty good in league play and make a nice run in the tournaments.

Anybody know where Bollerman (spelling) Field is located in Chillicothe? I was hoping Gallipolis would meet the Cavs at the VA Park on Friday. Never been to the VA but eveybody says that's a great place to play.

Jottings, Bolmer field is in Yoctangee park. The park is down the hill behind the school. The field is across the street from the swimming pool. I hope that helps. Gallia plays Chillicothe at the VA later in the season, so hopefully you can make the trip then. BTW, thanks for all you do to track the SEOAL score and records. It is much appreciated.

When will last week's game between GAHS-Chillicothe be made up. I thought April 10, but GAHS plays Portsmouth at home on that date.

yes they did, the game was tied at 7 and was potsponed after the seventh inning due to darkness

the game was as crazy as they come though, that's for sure

Ironton's fans, players, and coaches were very rude to our players and it proved to make a hostile environment with Ironton's coach even going as far as getting ejected from the game itself

hopefully, next time we see the tigers, they show a little more class

The coach was ejected and that will be an automatic 2 game suspension . The call he was ejected on wasn't even close. It's no wonder some of their players act that way . The catcher should have been tossed too. He argued with ump on more than one occasion ,as well as his own pitcher . He is same kid who was ejected a couple years ago in JV game and taken out of another by his coach. If this kid acted like that on Cav team he wouldn't even see the field .

How about the missed call at the plate ?? Unbelieveable    Glad there was a Photographer there who took a picture of the play.....

Ironton AD will be getting a few calls and emails tomorrow ....
