Dropped by Cadet Field this afternoon and found 25-30 young men hard at practice.
New sod on infield starting to green up.
Lost one of the big sycamore trees behind the backstop (lucky us, It's on the visitor side). Suspect the high winds a couple weeks ago did it in.
Two weeks till first game ( away at Belpre, I think).

Fort Frye is always solid and this season will be no different. Tyler Stevens and Chad Stengle will lead them to many wins.
I can't wait to see the new infield this summer during Legion ball.

Zanesville will be playing Fort Frye in a 3 way double header with Philo. I haven't seen them in a few years but am excited to see them on the schedule.

Yea, these games are up there. Will they be at ZHS, or at Gant?

The games will be held at ZHS. The work that the boosters have done on the field and facilities is really starting to show and should be commended. I look for it to be a great day of baseball in Zanesville. It is actually the only 3 way DH being played at the high school. We also have a DH with Licking Valley at their place, a 3 way DH with Newark Catholic and Olentangy Orange at NC, and a 3 way DH with John Glenn and River View at Gant in the last weekend of the season.
