Reedsville Eastern 2009
The boys should have a very good season this year. Lost one great senior last year but have a strong returning lineup. Should be a very solid. Good Luck Eagles!

They will compete for the league this year. WIth Pierce and Hendrix as the 1-2 starters it will be very tough to beat them. I believe Eastern returns 7 starters from last year. Look for Griffin to compete for POY

IMO this team has the most overall talent of any that Coach Bowen has had since he began coaching.
If they all possess the correct Attitude,Focus,Composure & Desire then with a little luck they could have a very,very good season.

hopefully your right on the pitchers. we have a scrimmage with them tonight and it would good to actually see some good pitching before the season

Coach Bowen always has his troops playing good baseball. I miss coaching against him cause he is a very classy coach. I played ball last night with his assistant KEN, I thought he was always just a good baseball player!!!! He wanted to guard me last night but ended up on my team. It wouldn't of been a great idea last night because I couldn't miss!!!!! LOL

Played Trimble tonight 10-0 five innings. Great job Eagles. Boys are playing pretty good!

The Eagles split a dh today against Adena. The first game was a close one for 4-5 innings but then Adena blew it wide open late to win 18-3. The second game the Eagles got a great pitching performance & banged a few hits off a pretty good pitcher & held on to win 7-4.

Nice win by the Eagles at City Park against the Big Reds of Parkersburg. Great pitching & hitting by all as the Eagles scored 5 runs in the top of the 7th to overcome a 4-3 lead Parkersburg had gained in the bottom of the 6th.
