It's a lot of work....but records, key wins and who they've lost to would be great!

Here's a tough week of volleyball

Jackson faces Eastern Pike, Chillicothe and South Webster this week....to go along with an easier tri-match Saturday.

That is a tough week for Jackson. The weakest of the 3 would have to be South Webster, who is still alright.

Reedsville Eastern played very poorly against Marietta.

Unioto 3 loses are all to teams ranked higher then them. Their two matches this week are like wise, Westfall and Adena.

Maybe so....but Marietta has a pretty high end and Eastern obviously does, and I like how Howie coaches.

VC has some ability but surprised they beat Marietta.

Keep an eye on Washington Court House, South Webster and Fairfield Union, i think you will see 15 to 17 wins from all 3 at end of regular season. Court House and FU were district contenders last year if my memory serves me right. S. Webster is always good. Beaver Eastern is the best team in our area at the moment, all divisions.

I think FU made it to the regionals last year and returned almost everyone. They play in a very tough league.

I agree on Beaver Eastern. But let me tell ya Zane Trace will be Nippin at their heals come tourney time

I agree with Zane Trace. After their win tonight at Huntington, this is looking like a strong year for the Pioneers. Watch out!

Yes i agree with Zane Trace and you can check the SVC thread to see my picks :) ZT is D3 and WCH, FU, are D2 and Beaver Eastern is D4 so come tourney time they will not see each other. Some good volleyball going on in south Ohio this year.

Chillicothe is getting better and better. It will be interesting to see when the X's Lady Shermans play at Chillicothe later this year. The Lady Shermans had the Lady Mustangs in trouble then let it slip away. As Boo33vb said the Southeast district is pretty good this year.

With the tournament setting the way it was at the Unioto Invitational the matches were best of 3 instead of the normal 5.

That can and does make a difference, take for instance last night the Sherman's were the first to win 2 sets but is was Westfall that came out on top in the best of Five series.

I don't want to take anything away from the Sherman's, the Chillicothe win was big for them but a Best of Five matCh at Chillicothe will be a bigger test of their metal.
Chillicothe is well coached and I look for that program to become one of the elite programs in the District with Coach Wrightsel Wrighting the Cavalier Ship!

The Sherman's also have Washington Court House on the schedule later on. Another good out-of-conference test for the Tanks this season.

I definitely give the Unioto program props, because they play a great non-league schedule and do not dodge anyone.
