Revised Competitive Balance Vote

This year, May 1-15 the revised version of the competitive balance proposal will be voted on. The schools would be placed into a Division for the OHSAA Tournament based on their "athletic count" instead of just the enrollment figures. The change from last years proposal, which failed by a vote of 332 to 303 is the way in which they determine the tradition factor.
One big thing I notice is that Reedsville Eastern, Newark Catholic and Fisher Catholic would be bumped up to D3. Certainly opens up that Regional to some other teams. It would, however, not take affect until the 2013-2014 season.
