Well main man, lets just say coach needs a new clipboard today and girls understand why. Pioneers roll on, and the "U" pulls off a shocker in Frankfort. Guess the Sherman faithfull own Co. Rd. 550 right now. Bet there is some chatter at the Frenchtown Country Club today.

Cavaliers take Gallia Academy in 3 sets 25-17, 25-20 and 25-18 to take the drivers seat in the SEOAL. The Cavaliers are 12-0 in sets so far and 4-0 in the league with a trip to Portsmouth this Thursday. Parisa Bennett 9 digs and 3 aces. Hayley Robinson 32 assists and Katelyn Martin 9 kills with Maddi Glendening and Caroline Benson with 8 kills each. Go Cavs!

Warren over Jackson 25-21, 21, 17

Jackson led the first game 15-7...then Warren got off the bus.

About 10 double hit calls on Jackson. We've had the same ref for 3 matches this year and she's called us for about 30 double hits.....in the other 8 matches with several other referees we've been call for about 5 total.

Best game Warren has played all year. Warren has won 3 in row but with Logan, Marietta, Gallia and Chilly their next 4 games, we will see if they have really improved.

The double hits called was a little over the top last night. I seen probably half of them, but there were 3 or 4 that were really questionable. BTW I thought your two line judges were about the best I have seen at any match including our own. Give them some praise if you see them.

Chillicothe senior setter Hayley Robinson was chosen as the AVCA/MaxPreps player of the week in the state of Ohio during the last week of August and recieved a patch and certificate acknowledging her outstanding play on the court. Congrats Hayley!

Gallia Academy over Jackson in 4.

Split the 1st two and Jackson was up about 22-18 in game 3 but couldn't seal the deal.

Cavaliers run their SEOAL record to 5-0 @ Portsmouth with a 25-5, 25-16, 25-18 win and remain unbeaten in sets at 15-0. Katelyn Martin hits the ball harder than anyone we have seen in southeastern Ohio and Kali Kight is right behind her with some big varsity heat. Fun to watch. Go Cavs!

Warren beaten easily by Logan at Warren in 3 sets. Tough stretch coming up for Warren with Marietta, Gallia and Chilly the next 3. Logan much improved from last years team. They really worked together and played great defense. Warren gave away a bunch of points on first serve service errors.

Who have you seen play with the exception of your team and the teams they have played?

Sully, bigg heat we have seen, The Clark girl from Beaver Eastern, #2 from S Webster, Cobb at Westfall, Dublin Scioto had a 6' 1 middle that could pound it. The middle from Logan Elm, Ryan girl at Warren, Kellough at Huntington, just to0 name a few. I have not seen more beyond our summer schedule and season schedule but we ( Chillicothe ) cover alot of SE Ohio ground each year. Love watching a kid pound the ball.

No doubt the Chilly girls can bring the Hammer!
In my opinion Cobb from Westfall is the hardest hitting, most accurate attacker we have seen throughout the summer and the season thus far. BOO33VB does mention several of the top "hard hitting" spikers from our area, I would ad Kennedy from Adena to that list. A year of growth and you will be adding a whole bait of Sherman's to that list...........

Warren over Gallia in 3 sets. Best all around game they have played this year. Played well as a team and they were all really pumped up this evening. Hope they can carry this into Thursday's matchup with Chillicothe. GO BLUE!!!!

Jackson over Portsmouth to move to 7-8 on the season.

Thumbs up to Portsmouth for their great effort and improvement. Really kept the ball off the court.
