While technically stopping her would be nearly impossible, she is very talented. She can turn things that most people wouldn't be able to set - into a set.

In fact, I strongly believe that none of the sports she plays on would be the same without her.

Though S.G.'s record is better, I think the match between S.G. and South Webster will be a good match. Any thoughts?

i would not be surprised to see south webster advance if they play anywhere near how they are capable...competition (even in loses) during the year should help s. webster...that being said...it is hard to go on the road and win

I think Webster is coming on at the right time of the year.

South Gallia is a much better team than it has been in the past. Should be a good game but if Webster plays to their potiental they will get the W.

lets compare the two...

south gallia (19-3)
http://www.ohsvca.net/reportscores/view ... &Submit=GO

good wins/against good competition...
none...defeated the teams they were supposed to defeat (mainly OVC teams) on a very weak schedule...most do not having winning records...

good loses...
took Eastern Meigs to four (first match of season)

not impressive...
struggled with Oak Hill (a team that won a handful of matches and lost to SW twice)
South Gallia (D4) @ Oak Hill (D3) N 25-22, 24-26, 25-22, 25-15
struggled with Fairland and wellston

South Webster (6-13)
http://www.ohsvca.net/reportscores/view ... &Submit=GO

good loses...
took Eastern (Div IV, 22-0) to 4 games (4 competitive games)
took Wheelersburg (Div III 19-3) to 5 games (5 competitive games)
competitive with Northwest (Div. III, 17-5) both matches
took Clay (Div IV, 15-6) to 5 games (5 competitive games)
competitive with Western Brown (Div I, 17-5)
competitive with Huntington (Chillicothe) and Alexander
competitive with Valley (Div. III, 19-2)
competitive with Waverly (Div. II, winning record)

South Webster will be tough tomorrow night. Their coach will have them ready to play. Their program has been tough over the past few years.
SG Roster:
Ellie Bostic Freshman Middle
Megan Caldwell Freshman Middle
Chandra Canaday Sophomore OP
Tayler Duncan Junior Setter
Tori Duncan Sophomore DS
Alisa Johnson Senior OH/MB
Shelby Merry Sophomore OH/Middle
Hailee Swain Senior OH
Breanna West Freshman Libero/OH

SG has really outgrown their schedule over the past two years. Moving to the TVC next year will be good for them. They will have 16 conference games and six non league games. The AD is working on moving away from the OVC schools in those six non league games. One of the keys to their improvement has been participating in club ball over the past two years. All nine players and three of their six jv players have been in club. Club allowed them to see what they needed to do to be competitive.

Good luck Rebels.

Congrats to the Lady Jeeps for pulling off the "W". They didn't really play well, but kudos to them for battling and never giving up. And, the SG fans are awesome. It was soooo loud in that gym. Other schools need some lessons from the South Gallia cheer block about what it means to support your teams!

As the cheer block president i say thank you. The Jeeps earned it. They just countered on all of South Gallias mistakes. But thank you again on the shout out on the cheer block :)
