Minford girls opened the season at home in style with a 5-0 victory over Portsmouth West for their 1st conference win of the season.

St Joe boys and girls both play most of the SOC teams, so it is always good to keep up with them too. I believe the St Joe boys game tonight is on Northwest's junior high football field, so that will be interesting.highflyer wrote:Not Soc but St. Joseph boys beat Greenup Co. 3-1 and girls won 8-1

Some nice warmups for SOC play starting tomorrow. Minford and Waverly start off with a huge game to gain some momentum. Northwest turns to the Pirates to try and mix things up with the top 3 this year.

Northwest boys 4-1 over St. Joe. The JH Field was worse than Clay's outfield.

A PK and two back-to-back garbage time goals for New Boston, so the score doesn't represent the way this game was played. Possession was probably 50/50 and could've gone either way. West's starting goalie is out as well.
