I doubted Minford before and they came through against me and hopefully they do it again.

No SE team has had recent(or ever?) success against Worthington Christian. Zane Trace is 0-3 over the past few years against them and Unioto lost a few years back at this same stage. The winner, I believe, would be the favorite to bring home the state championship.

I think Minford needs to sit back a little more than usual and get a quick counter attack with those 2 great forwards. WC will have a defensive letdown or two in the game, so Minford does have a fighting chance. I'll take WC 3-2 though. Good Luck to the Falcons and I hope they prove me wrong.

With the way the falcons played las night...they looked like a regional championship team to me they strictly outplayed Berlin. Berlin was a great team great passing , great shooting an all around great team...expectations wasnt close to what happend las night. a 4-1 victory nobody in southern ohio seen it coming. A big factor in last nights game was survival of the fitest. The Hawks were gassed at the end of the first half. Minfords conditioning kept them alive and now look where there going. With the way minfords midfeild has been playing. Im gonna Say WC has got their hands full. 2-1 Falcons

Nohustle brings up an incredibly important point. I knew that Minford was the best conditioned team in the area, but is Minford the best conditioned team in the region? Just maybe. I'm not sure of WC's conditioning program (though I can almost guarantee it is top notch). Nonetheless, Berlin Hiland is one of the better teams in the region, and I would have expected conditioning to not be a factor in that game (with both teams having relatively similar routines). However, the Falcons proved me wrong and completely wore out Hiland. If the Falcons can hang around in the first half, I think they have a very good shot of winning their first ever regional title.

Keep not letting people underestimate you, boys. Go FALCONS!!!

I wish the best of luck to the Falcons and nothing would be better to see an SOC team and my former school to go to state and win it. I would like to congraduate Coach Havens and company for making it this far. I can see the Falcons winning this game in a tight battle.

Go Falcons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

based on the way minford played against hiland and the fact that WC only got by on an own goal from columbus academy, i see minford winning this one. look for it to be close thought. minford 2-1

Worthington Christian's schedule. Not too bad.
Only Bishop Ready didn't advance to the Sectional Finals, with Wellington, Hartley, and Watterson getting knocked off by other teams listed.
Outscoring those opponents 54-10 on the season.

Jonathan Alder (4-1)--District Semis(lost to Bexley)

I think Minford needs to have the game of their life, but they can do it. It's a tough decision to make as a coach - do you try to play your normal game or make adjustments & play more defensively with counter attacks. Minford definitely has the power up front for counter attacks.

Good luck to them
