How many girls basketball wins do local programs have to date? (When did the program start)

I ask because the Lady Bishops of Rosecrans last night won their program's 600th career win. (program started in 1972)

The record books online are not really accurate, and I wanted to give a shoutout to the success of our local lady basketball programs!!

Cross river rivals, and good neighbors Waterford and Fort Frye have been good for years.
Both teams had several girls playing at the next level and they did very well at the College of their choice.
Would be interesting to see their overall W-L records?

Just found old program of Fort Frye Girls. Girls started playing in 70-71 season, and record that first year was 4-1
Their record as of 12-2-1918 was 725-282.
I think Waterford's would be that good or maybe better?

70-71 Was team still playing 6 on 6 with 2 players on each team had to stay in the back court, with no over and back and a 30 second shot clock

I have no idea, was out of school and doing shift work by then.
My mom played for Waterford girls team in the mid 1930's, so it might have been one of the rules from that era? :?:
Sure some lady that played back in the 70's could answer your question.

I remember going to games in when I was in Junior high. I think it was in 70-71 with rules like that but might been 69-70 . Then in 71-72 it was 5 on 5 but still no over and back plus a 30 second shot plus no 10 second court to get ball over half court. also when your mom played was it still a jump ball after every basket

Graduated from New Lex and can't remember any girls teams until 70s' The girls played the 5/5 offense and defense in gym. I would imagine there might have been some girls teams in the early 1900s'. Never talked to anyone that ever heard about it.

Soccerfan1 how many wins did Dr. Nash caulk up at the helm of the Bishops?

Peebles 1972-2017 = 601
Eastern Brown 1972-2017 = 581. Not sure of wins since 2017 for either teams. Close to 20 per year for both I believe.

I’m much too young to answer this one, but about every single year in the 2000s and to late into the 2010s the Lady Oaks were really good. So if an OH poster could help me out with it that would be appreciated
