Waverly led most of the night but Addison Cochenour hit a 3 with under a minute left to give Eastern the lead 44-43..next possession Paige Carter was fouled and hit both free throws to win it.. Eastern did have another chance but turned it over without getting shot off. Great effort by the lady Eagles tonight, didn't quit.

Peebles got it put on them tonight. The lid was on the bucket. Eastern played 9 and didn't skip a beat. Peebles was a little tight and it showed . Congrats Eastern Brown. If The lady Warriors continue to play like that this region is in for trouble.. I think final was 61-42 and it wasn't even close.

The Lady Cats were led by Laikyn Imler’s 18 points. Brianna Orsborne and Emily Young added 17 points apiece. Jayne Six chipped in 12. Lady Cats hung tough after Southern shot very well in the 1st half. The Lady Cats move to 5 and 1 overall and 5 and 0 in the league with a big tilt with Miller Thursday night at Trimble

Not surprised that Waverly won, really must have been a great game. Eastern Pike had so many unforced turnovers the game that I watched them, a little hard to get a good read on them. #22 for Eastern is going to get her points regardless who they play, she's really a good player.
